Amici’s Itialian Eatery  1901 West Bay Drive, #A1 , Largo Florida 727-585-4707 Great Italian Food.  I had the chicken parm and even with the sauce the batter was crispy!

Cristino’s: Cristino’s Pizza 1101 South Ft. Harrison Ave, Clearwater, Florida, 727-443-4900. Excellent coal pizza and other Italian food. Only a 5 minute ride over the Clearwater Bridge. They have great Gelato! We ordered the family size gelato and took it back.

Palm Pavillion Grill and Bar: Palm Pavilion 10 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater Beach, 727-446-2642 Located on North beach. Great food and views! A must go!

SeaWeed Grill: 2819 West Bay Drive, Belleair Bluffs, 727-584-1700, take a left out of HVG, at West Bay Drive, take a left, go over the bridge and the Marlin Darlin will be on the left. Very good restaurant with early birds from 4:00-5:45 @$9.90 per meal. Great happy hour prices!

Lucky Dill Deli: 2800 Alt 19, Palm Harbor, Florida, 727-789-5574, take a right out of HVG, head towards 60 East. After going through the rotary and over the bridge, you will come to Alt 19. Take a left on Alt 19 and follow for 8-10 miles. Excellent New York style deli. If you order a beverage, you will get a free dessert! (ask to see if it is still available)

Columbia Restaurant: Columbia Restaurant. , 727-596-8400, Across in the Sand Key Shoppes. Excellent food. Remember to buy the Columbia All Purpose Seasoning to take home.  Delicious on everything!

Panera Bread: West Bay Drive, Belleair Bluffs, same directions as Marlin Darlin only Panera Bread will be on the right.

Caretta on the Gulf (Located in the Sand Pearl Resort): 500 Mandalay Ave, Clearwater Beach, 877-726-3111, Caretta on the Gulf Excellent menu and food. A little pricey but well worth it for a nice dining experience.

Beach Comber We had dinner here on Christmas Day. There was a wait even with a reservation, but the food was really good. Behind the Beachcomber, owned by the same people is the Bistro. Excellent food, less expensive. Just walk around the back of the Beachcomber and you will find it.

Ted’s Luncheonette: 1201 Clearwater Largo Road, 727-584-2565, Great breakfast at a diner price. Highly recommend!

Maggie Mae’s This is located in the Shoppes on Sand Key shopping plaza. We have had breakfast and lunch here and it is really good and the prices are very reasonable. The strawberry waffle’s are my favorite.

Clearwater Aquarium : Clearwater Aquarium Don’t miss this one. Spend 2 – 3 hours here on an afternoon. Watch dolphins and turtles close up. Highly Recommend. Many new shows added. ** The famous Winter the dolphin “A Dolpin Tale Movie”!**

Lowry Park Zoo Tampa : Lowry Park Zoo Tampa Similar to Sea World at half the price. Highly Recommend.

Tampa Science Museum :  Mosi Science Museum We finally went here. The kids enjoyed it and it was a fun afternoon. Arrive early.

The Florida Aquarium: Florida AquariumA great aquarium to visit. The kids did the scuba with the fish program and had a wonderful time Explore Swim . Reservations should be made well in advance. The cost included one adult admission with each child in the program. We arrived early and were able to spend the whole day there.

Weedon Island Preserve: Weedon Island Preserve Every Saturday, a free two hour hike through the preserve.
